She graduated from the University of Bari in 2000.

Serena Botta is the Managing Partner of LABLAW’s Bari office.

She focuses her practice on providing counsel on Italian Labour Law matters including individual and collective redundancies, health and safety in the workplace, organisational models, privacy, reorgansation processes, social security, strategic human resource management advice, and trade union negotiations.


Serena launched her own law firm as soon as she was admitted to practice in Italy. In 2016 she established LABLAW’s Bari office where she currently acts as the Managing Partner.

Professional associations

Serena is a member of the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI) in addition to being a member of the Padua Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Court.


In 2008, Serena obtained a Master Degreen in European Economic Law and Human Rights at the University of Warsaw. She followed at the University of Bari gaining a PhD in Human Rights, Globalization and Fundamental Freedoms. Her thesis was on the subject of Human Rights Protection and Democratic Process Development in the Islamic Countries: Contradictions and Problems.
