Andrea De Vivo is a Partner of LabLaw Studio Legale Rotondi & Partners.

He has acquired a considerable experience in labor law, trade union and social security, trying, on a daily basis, in support of large companies, in the management of various issues related to the management, individual and collective, of the employment relationship, private, public and public privatized. He has also gained consolidated experience in litigation before the Labour Courts throughout Italy.

Before joining LabLaw, from 1997 to 2001, he was head of the Labour Law Department of an important firm in the capital. Since 2001, he created and led his own law firm and, since 2014, in association with Bruno Piacci and Nicola Petracca.

On this occasion, he has provided legal advice and assistance to major companies, Italian and foreign (including multinational), in labor matters, managing their labor law litigation and assisting HR Departments.

He has also managed highly complex operations, such as reorganizations and staff reductions of major multinational companies and national groups, as well as important transfers of companies or business units of national importance.

Andrea De Vivo graduated from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and specialized at the Three-year School of Specialization of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in “Labour Law, Trade Union and Social Security”.

He is the author of numerous publications in newspapers in the sector. He has commented on sentences and written articles on labor issues in specialized magazines, especially in “Il Sole 24 Ore”. He has been annotator and commentator of judgments in the field of labor law for the magazine “Giurisprudenza Italiana”

 

Teaching activities

Andrea De Vivo has had frequent collaborations with the Chair of Labor Law of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He has been speaker in various conferences and study days on labor issues throughout the country.
